Debate is on in New Mexico
An article was published on the Free New Mexican about the politics of the death penalty and so far 11 comments posted.
Here's one:
It is a sad state of affairs. Brian Sanderoff says the legislature argues the pros and cons of capital punishment rationally, but the general public is more influenced by attack ads. I know this is naivete on my part, but I hope Governor Richardson takes what he honestly feels is the right action if this bill gets to his desk.
