Former Prosecutors Oppose Changes to Federal Criminal Trial Procedure in Death Penalty Cases
This is an excerpt from a letter to Senate and House Conferees:
We are a group of former prosecutors who have all tried or supervised federal death penalty cases. We are writing to urge you to oppose the changes to federal criminal trial procedure in death penalty cases included in the House version of the Patriot Reauthorization Act (Title II of H.R. 3199).
