Illinois to Seek Death Penalty for Tucker
Yesterday, Chicago News Channel WTWO reported that the state was to seek death penalty for Aubrey Tucker. Tucker, who went on a fatal shooting spree in the Valley earlier this year, learned of the state's death penalty plans yesterday in a Lawrence County, Illinois courtroom.
Tucker is charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder for shooting his e-girlfriend and three other members of her family, killing her two-year old granddaughter.
A court-appointed expert will determine whether Tucker is physically and mentally fit to stand trial.

You may not agree with the death penalty until it happens to your family. This little girl was my cousin, and I hope tucker gets what he deserves!!

I do not agree with the death penalty either. And it has happened to my family...As a matter of fact "Tucker" as you call him, which shows me that you don't know him, happens to be my uncle. I believe he is innocent!!!!!

He was my stepfather for several years. In those years, he routinely got drunk, beat my mother bloody, and tried to burn down the house with me and my mother inside. Shortly thereafter, he shot his own father in the head and went to prison for approximately ten years. He was out for only a short time before he did this particular act.
Aubrey Tucker represents everything that is evil and wrong in this world. He deserves everything he gets and more.
That's my two cents.
