Jury verdict to free prison journalist
After 44 years in one of America's toughest prisons, renowned prison journalist Wilbert Rideau is a free man.The undercurrent running through Rideau's defense was that this well-spoken, 62-year-old man of obvious intellect did not deserve the same fate handed to the impulsive 19-year-old he was 44 years ago.
Rideau's supporters called him "the most rehabilitated man in America."

His rehabilitation doesn't bring back the life of the person he killed. Isn't it nice to here that this women's killer was able to continue on with his life, gain some knowledge and then be made a free man some 44 years later. That's justice folks.

redeau's going to make alot of money from his killing!!..and guess what? that lady is still just as dead...i bet her family are simply elated.
redeau? you do not know what justice is yet...seems you will have an appointment in GODS courtroom and eternity in HELL makes that 44 year "vacation" seem really small!!!
