Louisiana's Death Row
During the past five years, twice as many condemned inmates have walked free from Louisiana's death row than have been executed.
The call for a moratorium in Lousiana is picking up steam.

can you possibly tell me the name of the female incarcerated in Louisiana who has a death sentence? She is a former New Orleans policewoman. I heard this am on NPR that someone has written a book about her.

crimelibrary.com has information on Ationette Frank. There are only two women on LA death row. She was the first. She was sent there in 1995.

JDurham: The book is called "Killer With A Badge". Gives a full look into the murders that Frank did there. I was in New Orleans when this event took place; still gives me the creeps passing by that restaraunt.

I have seen Antoinette Franks and Brandy Holmes.
I was incarcerated at L.C.I.W. from 2003- 2006.
We always heard rumors that they were taking her to Angola but it never happened.

I was released from LCIW in September 2005 and the only death row inmate is Frank. There was talk that Brandy Holmes was going there, but never arrived before I was released. What is the story with Brandy Holmes?

Isn't Holmes the one who killed her child by putting it in a clothes dryer & turning it on? I was in Louisiana visiting relatives when I heard about it.
