Texas man executed on disproved forensics
This article was written by two incredible journalists who are featured in Deadline, Steve Mills and Maurice Possley. It is truly a depressing thought that Cameron Todd Willingham who was executed in Texas in February for setting a fire that killed his three daughters actually might not have done it.
I honestly can not comprehend how this mas was found guilty. I guess my mind can not wrap around how someone would set fire to his home killing his infant daughters though. The article claims that he was executed soley on "arson theories that have since been repudiated by scientific advances". It is even possible that the fire was accidental.
