The Innocent
Our partner, The Center on Wrongful Convictions, for their 2005 benefit are sponsoring a benefit and award ceremony. The benefit will be the premiere of the The Innocent, a documentary film featuring the work of the Center and the stories of death row survivors, such as Gary Gauger, and many others. They will also present their first annual Jenner & Block Award to Illinois Senate President Emil Jones for his efforts to improve the fairness and accuracy of the criminal justice system
The event is Sunday May 15, 5:30 to 8:30p.m at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Their website has all of the information.
